Teachers & Educators
Teachers
are special, and we feel that the dedication that demostrate in the
classroom carries over to the road. Therefore, we offer an
additional 5% auto discounts for teachers. In order to receive
the discount you must have an active teachers certificate. Public
and Private school teachers are elligible. Please visit

Nurses
We
don't have to tell you that it takes a special kind of person to be a
nurse. Here at Farmers, we know that not everyone has that
dedication and selflessness. We at Farmers have decided to reward
your safe driving with a special preferred rate on your Auto
insurance. A current RN license is required to qualify.
Police Officers
The same qualities
that make you a successful police officer also make you a good customer, and
our studies show that people like you are particularly responsible &
careful drivers. We at Farmers have decided to reward your save
driving with a preferred rate on your Auto insurance. A valid
law enforcement ID (badge) or a letter confirming full time employment from a
city/state facility required.
Firefighters
You are familiar
with danger and risk on the job..... not on the road. That makes you less
likely to have an accident & therefore a better risk to insure.
Saving things is what you do, and we would like to offer one more thing for you
to save - money on your auto insurance. A valid ID (badge) or a
letter confirming full time employment from a city/state facility required. (Volunteers
& EMTs are NOT eligible.)
Doctors
You save
lives, and we are offering you another way to save - on your auto
insurance. The same care and attention to detail that makes you a
good doctor also makes you a good driver. Current, active license
to practice in Illinois as a pharmacist, physician, psychiatrist,
psychologist or surgeon is required to qualify.
Engineers
Your
attention to detail on the job translates to your attention behind the
wheel. You take great pride in your work just as you do in your
safe driving. By doing so, you qualify for a preferred rate on
your auto insurance. To qualify as an engineer, you need to have a valid IL engineer's license OR a college degree in engineering.
Scientists
To Qualify, you must hold a Bachelor, Masters or
Ph.D. in one of these fields: actuarialscience, astronomy, biochemistry, biology,
chemistry, computer science, cybernetics, ecology,
genetics, geology, geophysics, mathematics, meteorology, neuroscience, physics, physiology,
oceanography, planetary systems or statistics.
